Man arrested in Garden Grove apartment

A man was arrested on suspicion of stabbing his wife in the head with a meat clever in Garden Grove apartment. Officers responded Tuesday 1/ 12 to a Flower Street apartment and found a woman stabbed, but alive, and their children unharmed.  Police say the couple's 7-year old boy witnessed the attach.  Click here to read full story. On Thursday October 22nd, members of the Garden Grove Police Department participated in the annual Tip-A-Cop fundraiser for Special Olympics at the Red Robin restaurant in Garden Grove. This annual event has officers and police department employees assist the Red Robin staff in taking orders, delivering food, and refilling drinks. The National Fraternal Order of Police is lobbying to add police officers to other victims under the Congressional hate crimes statute. This is the area bordered to the north by Chapman, to the south by Lampson, to the east by Springdale and to the west by Valley View. On April 20, 2014, the suspects pictured below knocked repeatedly on the front door of a home in Garden Grove. After receiving no response, they eventually climbed over the fence into the rear yard of the residence. GARDEN GROVE, Calif. (KABC) -- A 22-year-old man is being hailed a hero for saving the life of a man who suffered a possible heart attack, lost control of his minivan and slammed into an apartment in Garden Grove early Thursday morning.
